Algebretto is a small business focused in math tutoring and composing music.

My name is Erika Pirnes. I have two Master’s degrees in mathematics, the first from University of Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2018, and the second from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, in 2023. I am a qualified mathematics teacher in Finland, and I have teaching experience from both countries. The name of my business “Algebretto” comes from the words “algebra” and “allegretto”, referring to both mathematics and music.

I offer tutoring especially for high school and university students that are taking algebra or calculus. In addition, I am happy to tutor university students taking linear or abstract algebra.
